A4Tech Bloody B120 – the king of the price segment!

This keyboard is the king of its price segment, which is why I can safely recommend it for purchase if your old keyboard is obsolete or broken and you want to buy a relatively inexpensive but high-quality replacement.

Let’s move on to unpacking:

The keyboard is supplied in a high-quality and colorful cardboard box, which contains all the information about the product being purchased. Inside the box there is another one, made in matte black with the bloody series logo in the middle. Inside there is a brochure that contains all the key combinations used in this model, the keyboard itself in a plastic bag and a set of regular (black) WASD caps that can be installed instead of the already installed silicone ones. There are no driver disks included, the keyboard operates on the principle of installing and working.

Appearance and functionality:
The case has a cool, minimalist design, made of matte black plastic that does not collect fingerprints. On its lower edge there is a harmoniously located transparent panel with a backlit corporate logo of the series, and in the upper right corner there is the same informative panel on which the currently activated functions are highlighted. On the back side there are three rubberized feet at the bottom, as well as two at the top.

The keyboard is located at a slight angle to the plane of the table, which makes it more convenient to use, and the legs on the back panel will help make this angle even greater.

The keyboard has two-level protection against moisture, that is, if you accidentally spill something on it, you just need to wipe it and dry it, nothing bad will happen to the keyboard itself.

The wire is made in https://nonukcasinosites.co.uk/casinos-not-on-gamstop black and red braiding, standard for this series of A4Tech products, with protection against bending. This model is connected to the computer via USB, which in principle is not surprising, since now almost all manufacturers have stopped producing keyboards with the ancient PS/2 connector.

The caps are slightly concave and have a slightly unusual shape: they are ground off along the edges so that no accidental pressing occurs during use. The spacebar is reinforced with an additional spring, thanks to which it has even pressure along the edges. As I said earlier, red silicone keys with a relief surface in the form of a mesh are installed by default; if desired, they can be replaced with standard ones.

The key travel is pleasant, not too tight and not soft, pressing feels great. There are no backlashes or other mechanical defects.

The keyboard has at its disposal a full-fledged long Shift, a double-decker enter and a long backspace, for which I would like to say a special thank you to the developers. There is also an additional Fn key for multimedia, a Windows key lock key and a key that adjusts the backlight level.

Speaking of backlighting, the keyboard has 5 lighting modes: off, 25, 50, 75 and 100%. All keys are backlit evenly; there should be no problems using the keyboard in dark rooms or at night. But still, for me, even at the maximum level, the backlight seemed a little faded, I think that the maximum level could have been raised to the same brightness level as the logo.

Peculiarities:
In addition to the aggressive design inherent in all gaming devices and the windows lock key, when activated, the G icon lights up on the information panel, that is, game mod, this keyboard has flexible software for configuration, as well as the ability to record basic macros on the fly.

The software, like all bloody products, has a standard design. When we open the program, we find ourselves on the ultra core tab, where we see that for now the keyboard uses only one core, unlike mice of the same series, but the very presence of this tab leaves hope that someday a choice of other cores will become available.

The button tab allows you to create 3 profiles, for each of which you can reassign five keys to perform a number of specific functions.

The Oscar Macro and Super combo tabs include macro builders and allow you to create a wide variety of keyboard shortcuts and functions that you can use to your advantage in a wide variety of games.

But, even without using any software, you can use two macros built into the keyboard using the Fn+F11 and Fn+F12 key combinations. The combination Fn+F11 is called Auto, using it, you can select one key, when pressed it will remain active until you press this key again. The Fn+F12 shortcut works in a similar way, but in this case the key you select will be active as long as you hold it down.

Some may find this feature useless, but I think it can be used in some games.

So it’s time to let you down result. If you have a limited budget, don’t care about mechanics and don’t need additional keys, then this keyboard will be an excellent choice for you. It is definitely worth the money and is the best membrane keyboard in its price segment.
